  2.   One of the Co-authors of Assam’s Flora (Present Status of Vascular Plants)” a book published by Assam Science, technology and Environment Council, 2005.

3.    “Wild edible plants of Assam” – a book for teachers, students and researchers in the field of biology jointly written with B. N. Patiri, DFO, Chirang, published by the Director of Forest Communication, Forest Department, Govt. of Assam, 2007.

Activities in corporate life:

a)    As member of “Birjhora Herbal garden construction committee” and “Herbal garden maintenance committee” since 2002.

b)    As member of the college magazine editorial board in 2003-’04, 2008-’09

c)    As teacher- in -charge of  Literary section of the college in 2006-’07

d)    As member of extension activities cell of the college in 2003-’04, 2005-’06.

e)    As member of college campus beautification  committee in 2007-’08, 2008-’09.

Project works:

 1. Worked as Project Scientist in the Project Environmental Atlas of Assam conducted by Environment Division, Assam Science, Technology and Environment Council, Guwahati  from Sept. 19, 1996 to Sept. 30, 1997.

 2. Worked as project investigator of the project entitled Pilot Survey of Late Winter      

       Vegetation in Kakoijana Proposed Wild Life Sanctuary conducted by Birjhora   

       Mahavidyalaya, under COSIP, UGC, 2001.

  3. Worked as Principal investigator of a University Grants Commission Sponsored minor  Research project entitledFlora of Bongaigaon District, Assam” 2004-2005.

 

  4. Worked as co-investigator of the project “Community participation in Conservation of Golden Langur in Shankarghola- a preliminary survey” sponsored by Rufford Small  Grant, London, conducted by Aaranyak, 2004.

 

  5. Worked as co-investigator of the project “Winter Bird Community study in Kakoijana (Proposed) Wildlife Sanctuary” Sponsored by Salim Ali Nature Conservation Fund, Bombay Natural History Society and conducted by Birjhora Mahavidyalaya, Bongaigaon,  2004-2005.

 

6.   Worked as Principal Investigator of the project “Capacity Building and Setting up of an Experimental Plot in Shankarghola, Bongaigaon, Assam for sustainable biodiversity conservation” sponsored by Aaranyak- Rufford Maurice Laing Foundation, 2006-2007.

  7. As programme coordinator for Environment Awareness Campaign since 2001      

      conducted by Birjhora Mahavidyalaya as a part of National Environment Awareness

Campaign sponsored by Ministry Of Environment and Forest, Govt. of India, supported by  Assam Science Society.

8. Working as project consultant of the project “ Identification and strengthening of key habitat linkages in Manas Tiger Reserve using Geospatial Technology and Policy Advocacy” conducting by Aaranyak, an NGO recognized as SIRO, sponsored by Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, 2008-09.
