THE UNIVERSITY:

    • THE STUDY CENTER:

    To make a bridge with the outer world of Higher Education as well as Distance Education, IGNOU Study Center has been opened at Birjhora Mahavidyalaya in 1992 just after completion of five years of its establishment. People of all sections of the society including students of this college can avail the opportunities provided by this IGNOU Study Center. Since the inception of this STUDY CENTER, it has been trying to bring

    the education to the doorstep of learner. A good number of learners of this study center have successfully completed their programme like MBA, MA in different subjects, BA, B. Com., B.Sc., PG Diploma in different subjects, Diploma & certificate in different subjects. The study center has been providing services to the students as well as teachers of the parent institution, Birjhora Mahavidyalaya for their progression.     MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT OF THE STUDY CENTER:

    One of the learners of the study center, MS. PRANITA DAS, Enrollment No.060066961, has secured      HIGHEST MARKS in  MA in POLITICAL SCIENCE in Term End Examination, June 2008 & received the GOLD MEDAL on the 20th convocation of  IGNOU held in New Delhi on 28th February,  2009.
