Infrastructure :
Students of Mathematics Department can avail Computer facility
for their Computer Programming paper in third year available at
the Computer centre and Information Technology Lab., which are
supervised by Mathematics and Statistics Department jointly.

Activities :

Faculty members are associated with Assam Academy of
Mathematics which organizes Mathematics Olympiad and
Mathematics Competition all over Assam. Teachers of the
department take part in the training programmes organized by
AAM in the locality.

Talented students are sent to participate in MTTS programmes
organized by IIT.

One faculty member Mrs. A. Mech is involved in Research in
the field of Mathematics Education.
