An Appeal to Well-wishers and Alumni

We take immense pleasure to inform you that Birjhora Mahavidyalaya, the only degree science college under Gauhati University has completed twenty five years of its glorious existence on the 1st September 2011.

You are aware of the fact that the college since its establishment in 1986 has been successful in imparting collegiate education in various disciplines as well as emerging application oriented areas.

Commemorating this auspicious occasion, College Fraternity celebrated the whole year with different programmes. It has been decided to celebrate the concluding programmes of the Silver Jubilee Year in a befitting manner on 17th, 18th and 19th January, 2012. On this occasion, the construction of a gorgeous Silver Jubilee Gate with the generous help of a well-wisher is going on in a war- footing manner. Programmes in the concluding Ceremony will include Cultural Rally, Exhibition, publication of Souvenir, Alumni meet, invited talks and Seminars by eminent educationists, Cultural Shows and much more. Alumni meet will be held on 18th January 2012.
